Texas State football head coach , offensive coordinator , sophomore tight end and sophomore kicker met with local media outlets to preview the Bobcats' conference-opening game against South Alabama on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. Saturday's matchup between Texas State (1-3) and South Alabama (3-1, 0-1) will mark the first time the Bobcats have taken the field since playing at Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 25 as the program had a bye week last week.
