SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State men's golfers Jack Burke, Marcelo Garza, Tom Roed Karlsen, Kasper Nyland and Sakke Siltala were named to the 2023-24 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Thursday.
532 NCAA Division I athletes from 180 schools earned 2023-24 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors. The Bobcats were one of 25 Division I programs to have at least five recipients.
It is the third time for Nyland to receive the honor and second time for Jack Burke, Marcela Garza and Karlsen.
