SAN MARCOS, Texas – After accounting for five touchdowns and throwing for over 300 yards in Texas State's win against Georgia Southern, TJ Finley was named a Manning Award Star of the Week and to the Davey O'Brien Award's Great 8 List for Week 10 on Monday.
Finley picked up the national player of the week accolades after leading the Bobcats to a 45-24 win over the Eagles by completing 25 of his 31 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for two more scores as he matched his season-high for total touchdowns in a game.
