NORMAN, Okla. — The Golf Coaches Association of America announced Friday that Texas State's Fabian Sunden has been named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf NCAA Division I All-America Scholar in 2020-21.
Sunden was named the Sun Belt Conference Newcomer of the Year after transferring to Texas State in 2020-21 and ranking third on the team with a 73.27 average in nine tournaments. He had two top 10 finishes for the Bobcats and shot par or better in 11 rounds last season.
His best finish was second place at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate after posting Texas State's best round of the season with a seven-under-par 65 in the final round.
