LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Placed into the starting lineup for just the third time this season, sophomore guard Sierra Dickson was instrumental in Texas State bouncing back from a bumpy fourth quarter to beat Little Rock, 69-65, in triple overtime.
In the early stages of the nearly three-hour game, Dickson was one of four different Bobcat student-athletes to be credited with an assist when Da'Nasia Hood opened the game by scoring Texas State's first 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting. Dickson later joined the scoring column, too, when she took one of Kennedy Taylor's game-high 10 assists and then put the basketball through the net.
