FOLEY, Ala. – Emily DeWalt made program and conference history Wednesday afternoon when the Sun Belt Conference announced the Texas State senior setter was named the league's player of the year and setter of the year as voted on by the Sun Belt Conference head coaches.
DeWalt, who is the league's all-time career leader in setter of the week awards with 18, becomes the first four-time Sun Belt Conference Setter of the Year in league history and became the first Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year for Texas State since joining the conference in 2013.
