SAN MARCOS, Texas – In the final day of spring practice for Texas State football, all sides of the team were showcased at the Spring Football Game & Fan Fest, presented by Bud Light, on Saturday at Bobcat Stadium.
In a practice structured with three different portions – a controlled "first half" of offense vs. defense, two-minute team, and a game of "21" – the offense was flying while the defense had stops in the early going.
Redshirt sophomore quarterback Ty Evans threw for 88 yards and a touchdown on 9-of-14 passing in the "first half.
