SAN MARCOS, Texas – For the first time in program history, the Texas State soccer team had a player selected to a United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team with Kaylee Davis being named to the third team.
Davis is a food and nutrition major with a 3.59 GPA. She has twice been named to the Texas State Dean's List after transferring in from Sam Houston State. On Monday, she became just the second Bobcat to be named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-West Second Team.
On the pitch this season, she tallied a program record tying 18 goals that led the Sun Belt Conference and tied for the third most in NCAA Division I.
