NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference office announced for the third time in the last four weeks that Texas State's Kaylee Davis was honored as the conference's Offensive Player of the Week after her performances against Arkansas State and Little Rock. She is the first Sun Belt player on record to take home three of the weekly offensive awards in a four-week span.
Davis netted all three of the Bobcats goals over the weekend. Her lone goal on Friday against the Trojans came early in the 11th minute when she received a through ball from Jordan Kondikoff and blasted a shot into the back of the net.
