SAN MARCOS, Texas – The honors continue to roll in for Texas State soccer players with the latest being United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's Scholar All-West Region Team honors. Kassi Hormuth was picked to the first team and both Chandler Cooney and Rachel Grout second team selections.
Hormuth shared the team lead with eight goals, six assists and 22 points this season. During Sun Belt Conference play, she netted five goals and was credited with five assists that coincided with the Bobcats' seven-match winning streak. Her performance earned her the SBC Offensive Player of the Year award and was named to the all-conference first team.
