College Baseball: Texas State doesn't 'take care of the baseball' in 6-3 loss to Nevada

For Texas State, the winning formula has been rather simple this season: The Bobcats have mashed plenty of pitches over the fence, received quality performances from their starting staff and handed the ball to Pasquale Mazzoccoli in the ninth.

In all honestly, 20 wins say Texas State has been successful at making that strategy work more often than not.

Friday's 6-3 loss to Nevada in the series opener at Bobcat Ballpark had two of those elements, but the third never came to fruition, because as head coach Ty Harrington put it, the Bobcats didn't take care of the baseball (read: They committed two costly errors).
