Saturdays have been good to Texas State.
And bad for the Bobcats' competition.
Just ask Washington State or Incarnate Word whom Texas State whalloped by a combined score of 32-6.
Appalachian State was the latest opponent to fall victim to one of the Bobcats' offensive onslaughts on a Saturday — although it wasn't exactly hitting weather. Teddy Hoffman clobbered a three-run homer that buffeted through the wind and landed well over the left field wall to ignite a six-run third inning and Texas State steamrolled the Mountaineers by a score of 16-0 on Saturday afternoon inside Bobcat Ballpark.
