SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State volleyball team fell 3-1 (25-21, 14-25, 25-15, 25-23) to Coastal Carolina Friday night inside Strahan Coliseum.
The game was the annual Pink Out contest for the Bobcats (9-9, 2-1 Sun Belt Conference), who were raising money to help raise awareness for breast cancer. All proceeds from the event will go to Pink Heals Hays County.
Senior led Texas State with 10 kills on a .556 hitting percentage, while also adding a match-high six blocks. Junior contributed 35 assists, and true freshman added 20 digs.
The closest set of the night was the first, which was won 25-21 by the Chanticleers (11-4, 2-1 SBC).
