NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America announced Thursday that Texas State junior golfer Calvin Ross has been named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf Division I All-America Scholar for 2018-19.
"Calvin Ross has been the model student athlete since he began at Texas State," men's golf head coach Shane Howell said. "He has accomplished much on the golf course and in the classroom during his three years on the hill. I'm so happy he was named Academic All American as he rightfully deserved this honor."
Ross played in 11 tournaments for the Bobcats in 2018-19, and posted four top-20 showings last spring.
