SAN MARCOS, Texas – After completing its second straight practice on natural grass, the Texas State football team will hold its first fall camp scrimmage on Sunday morning at Bobcat Stadium. The scrimmage will begin at 10:15 a.m. and is open to the general public.
"It will be the first chance for the guys to actually tackle and play without the coaches standing there and telling them what to do," head coach Everett Withers said.
The Bobcats have completed 12 practices since beginning fall camp on July 31, but Withers feels they really started fall camp yesterday because the players have finished summer classes and final exams last Thursday.
