SAN MARCOS, Texas – After a pair of victories last weekend, Texas State is receiving 27 votes in the Collegeinsider.com (CIT) Men's Mid-Major Top 25 Poll announced Monday.
The Bobcats (17-10, 10-6 Sun Belt) gained six more votes from last week's total after defeating Little Rock 74-66 who was ranked No. 14 in the poll at the time, and topped Arkansas State 69-64, notching their fourth regular-season series sweep this year. The Maroon and Gold picked up win No. 10 in league play with the decision against Arkansas State, marking the first time in 17 years that the Bobcats have recorded consecutive double-digit wins in league play (2001-03).
