SAN MARCOS, Texas. – Much like the school's football team, the Texas State women's basketball team embarks on a five-game road slate during the season before returning to the Strahan Arena at the University Events Center in late December. Thursday's game at SMU — scheduled to tip at 7 p.m. — will mark the second of those five road games for the Bobcats.
Texas State's comeback effort in their season-opening game at New Orleans on Saturday, Nov. 28 came up just short as the Bobcats (0-1) fell, 67-64, to the Privateers.
"I think it's going to be really important that we have a good start," said Texas State women's basketball head coach Zenarae Antoine said.
