SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's tennis tied the program record for most wins in a season (14) after sweeping Southern Miss 4-0 on Saturday. The Bobcats moved to 14-3 overall and 5-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.
"Big win on the road and I think the tennis gods were looking out for us to even be able to get this match in with the forecasted weather," said head coach Kendall Brooks. "The girls played super solid doubles and then composed, competitive tennis in singles to clinch the match. Excited for them and what's still in front of us.
