PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – Heading into Wednesday's game the Texas State men's basketball team knew they would face a tough task on the road against Prairie View A&M. Add on a 30 minute delay because of a clock malfunction and it could have been a rough night for the Bobcats. However, an early run and big performances from Emani Gant and Ethan Montalvo propelled Texas State to 62-44 victory over Prairie View A&M in W.J. Nicks Arena.
TXST improved to 5-2 and earned its second road win of the year. PVAMU dropped its home opener to remain winless at 0-10.
