Bobcats suffer fourth-straight conference loss, 77-56

BOONE, N.C. – The Texas State women's basketball team (9-13, 4-6 Sun Belt) could not hang with the Appalachian State Mountaineers (12-9, 6-4 Sun Belt) on Thursday afternoon at Holmes Convocation Center and lost by a score of 77-56.

The loss is the fourth-consecutive setback for the Bobcats and is the sixth loss in seven outings. The streak is the longest losing streak of the season.

"I think the team is pressing right now," head coach Zenarae Antoine said. "We are pressing too hard to make things happen. We need to slow down and execute on the offensive end of the floor.
