ARLINGTON, Texas – Texas State and UTA split Friday afternoon's Sun Belt Conference doubleheader at Allan Saxe Field with the Mavericks winning game one 4-0 and the Bobcats game two 10-3.
Texas State is now 39-12 on the season and 18-7 in Sun Belt play, while UTA moves to 28-24 overall and 13-13 against league foes.
By virtue of the victory in game two, the Bobcats have clinched No. 2 seed in next week's Sun Belt Championship.
