SAN MARCOS, Texas – Beginning Friday morning, the Texas State women's golf team will compete in one more regular season tournament at the 2016 Red Raider Invitational hosted by Texas Tech. The Bobcats will compete against 13 other schools in a 54-hole event beginning at 9:00 a.m. Friday morning at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas.
Competitors at the event in addition to Texas State and host school Texas Tech include BYU, Cal Poly, Colorado State, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, North Texas, Purdue, SMU, and Tulsa. Five of the 14 competitors rank in the top 50 in the Golfstat ratings and 11 of the teams are inside the top 100.
