SAN ANTONIO- The Texas State track and field teams won six events, set a school record, and posted 12 of this season's best marks in the Sun Belt Conference at the UIW Invitational on April 9-10.
Brandon Busby led the Bobcats after winning the men's discus, setting a school record in the men's hammer, and placing fourth in the shot put.
Busby won the men's discus with a throw of 51.12 meters (167' 8"), which ranks fourth among Sun Belt Conference leaders. He eclipsed Texas State's school record and placed second in the men's hammer with the Sun Belt's third-best throw of 64.
