NEW ORLEANS – The Texas State men's basketball team saw its season come to an end in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament quarterfinals with an 80-54 loss to No. 1 seed Louisiana in the Lakefront Arena.
The Bobcats ended their season 15-18 while the Ragin' Cajuns are now 27-5.
Four times the lead changed hands in nearly the first five minutes with a layup from netting a layup to put TXST in front 5-4.
Frank Bartley followed with a layup as the Cajuns scored 24 of the next 27 points in the contest. UL would take a 37-15 lead into halftime.
