SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State volleyball team continued to climb in two national polls this week.
The Bobcats moved up one spot to No. 20 in the VolleyballMag.com Mid-Major Top 25 Poll that was released Tuesday. TXST also ascended two spots to a school-record mark of No. 25 in the NCAA RPI that was issued Monday.
The VolleyballMag.com poll is a ranking of the top mid-major programs in NCAA Division I volleyball and is voted upon by 25 mid-major coaches across the country. The RPI (Ratings Performance Index) is a computer-generated ranking that takes into account numerous categories such as win/loss record, opponents' winning percentage and the winning percentage of those opponents' opponents.
