HOUSTON – The Texas State baseball team, the darlings of the 2019 Shriners Hospital for Children College Classic, will be making a return trip in 2021 as announce by the Houston Astros on Sunday.
The tournament will be contested Mar. 5-7, 2021 at Minute Maid Park and feature an all-Texas field for the second time in three years. Joining the Bobcats will be Rice, Sam Houston State, TCU, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
Nine games will be played between the six programs for the 21st annual event.
The official times and dates of each game will be announced at a later time.
