LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Texas State volleyball team is receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I Top 25 Preseason Poll released Monday afternoon.
The Bobcats are currently tied with Kansas receiving 11 votes. Four opponents on the Bobcats' 2021 schedule are featured in the Top 25 poll, including No. 1 Texas, No. 3, and reigning National Champions Kentucky, No. 11 Ohio State, and Dayton who is receiving 25 votes.
The Bobcats are coming off a 31-9 overall record and their 12th NCAA Tournament appearance. TXST were winners in four of its final five matches last season, including a 3-1 upset at then-ranked No.
