ROUND ROCK, Texas – A 9-run sixth inning by Texas State (4-3) propelled the team past Washington State (5-2) 13-4 in the final game of Karbach Round Rock Classic held at Dell Diamond. The sixth inning run total set a tournament record for most runs in a frame.
Ryne Farber had another big day at the plate going 3-for-5 with four RBI and scoring a run. Also with a multi-hit contest was Alec Patino with two base knocks. The senior first baseman drove in two runs along with Rashawn Galloway.
