LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Texas State soccer team concluded its first road trip of the season by playing to a 1-1 draw at New Mexico State Sunday afternoon at the NM State Soccer Athletic Complex.
With the draw, the Bobcats are now 4-1-1 on the season while the Aggies see their record go to 1-2-2.
The match started out as a defensive affair as neither team took a shot until early in the 13th minute by NSMU's Corey Kizer. Genesis Turman took the Bobcats first shot attempt two minutes later, sending it wide of the right post.
