SAN MARCOS, Texas – With the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, the Texas State soccer program is helping give back to those in need by participating in the food drive Soccer United Against Hunger that runs June 1-30.
Before the pandemic, 41 million Americans were relying on Food Banks for help including 11 million children. Over 30 million more have now lost their jobs in the last month and Food Banks are now seeing lines of up to 10,000 cars. The Bobcats and the over 500 Division I men's and women's soccer programs are uniting across America to take action against hunger.
