SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State women's tennis program begins a new era this weekend as they open the season at the ASU Slam Fest under new Head Coach Kendall Brooks.
The two-day tournament hosted by Angelo State, begins Friday with competition from Division I and Division III levels in San Angelo, Texas with singles and doubles action taking place at four venues. Along with Angelo State and Texas State, other schools competing include Tarleton State, Abilene Christian, and Southwestern.
Singles play kicks off the weekend Friday at 1 p.m. at the ASU Tennis Courts, the recreational courts on the ASU campus, and the Concho Valley Tennis Association.
