SAN MARCOS, Texas – Tre'Larenz Nottingham and Nijal Pearson combined for 43 points to lead the Texas State men's basketball team to an 80-62 victory over Little Rock in a Sun Belt Conference game at Strahan Arena on Thursday night.
The contest was a tale of two halves as Little Rock opened the game shooting 54.5 percent in the first half and led 21-16 before Pearson scored eight straight points to give the Bobcats a three-point advantage.
Texas State led 30-25 with 1:36 left in the opening period before Little Rock's Rayjon Tucker nailed a three-point shot to pull the Trojans back to within two.
