SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State University softball program will welcome the USSSA Florida Pride of the National Pro Fastpitch League to Bobcat Softball Stadium Thursday, Oct. 27.
The contest between the Bobcats and Pride will be free and open to fans. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., and can also be viewed live on txstatebobcats.com/watch. An autograph session will be held for those in attendance following the game.
The exhibition will mark the return of former Bobcat assistant coach Kelly Kretschman. Kretschman, who served on coach Ricci Woodard's staff in 2015 and 2016, was the NPF's 2016 Player of the Year.
