MARICOPA, Ariz. – Texas State women's golf falls to sixth place after the conclusion of the second round of the National Golf Invitational (NGI) Saturday. Mattingly Palmer is the only Bobcat to remain in the top-10.
In the second round of the NGI, Texas State went 15-over 303 to put the Bobcats at 21-over par. Texas State had the fourth highest 18-hole second round total among the 10 teams. Penn State still holds the lead at nine-over par.
Mattingly Palmer fell two spots on the leaderboard to ninth, but maintained her position inside the top-10.
