NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – The Texas State women's golf team shot a 311 in the final round to finish second at its own Texas State Invitational with a three-round score of 906, played at the par 71, 6,032-yard The Bandit Golf Club in New Braunfels.
UTSA won the 54-hole event with a score of 901. Finishing third behind the Bobcats' (+54) was Georgia Southern (911) and Stephen F. Austin (917). Central Arkansas Rounded out the 16-team field's top-five with a 917.
"I'm proud of how we competed all the way until the end," said head coach Lisa Strom.
