AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas State University women's golf team finished 10th at the University of Texas-hosted 43rd Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational, contested at the par-72, 6,278-yard UT Golf Club.
The Bobcats carded a final-round team score of 6-over 294 to bring its 54-hole total to 900 (300-306-294), finishing one stroke back of Notre Dame (899, +35). Tenth-ranked Kent State overtook No.11 Miami Tuesday to win with a 2-under 862, besting the Hurricanes by one stroke (863, -1). Texas, ranked 19 by Golfweek, placed third with a 2-over 866. Baylor (877, +13) and Texas Tech (881, +17) rounded out the field's top five.
