BOONE, N .C.– Texas State got a 67-58 win against App State in its first road game of Sun Belt play. The win marked Texas State and head coach Zenarae Antoine's 100th conference win.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Shooting woes and turnovers found the Bobcats in the first quarter. After scoring just eight points in the first quarter and App State putting up 19 of their own, the Bobcats trailed after one.
The second quarter was a the start of the comeback for the Bobcats. Henson shot 3-4 for 11 points while leading the team to 5-9 shooting for 16 points.
