SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State softball team (9-12) sputtered at the plate in a 6-1 loss to the No. 11 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns (16-3) on Friday evening at Bobcat Softball Stadium.
KEY MOMENTS
- The Cajuns raced out to a five-run lead in their first three trips to the plate. Louisiana hit a solo home run in the first and a two-run shot in the second.
- Junior outfielder hit a solo home run down the left field line in the bottom of the third inning to get the Bobcats on the scoreboard.
