ATLANTA – The Texas State women's basketball team overcame an early 12-point deficit in the first quarter, but struggled to hang on as Georgia State defeated the Bobcats 73-62 Thursday evening at the GSU Sports Arena. Senior guard made a career-high five 3-pointers and scored a career-high 18 points in the Bobcat's setback.
How It Happened:
Georgia State used the first two and a half minutes to take an early 9-0 lead over Texas State. The Panther lead continued to grow to as many as 12 with 2:49 on the clock before a jumper by sparked a 7-0 Texas State run to cut that Panther lead down to seven at the first quarter break of the game.
