BOONE, N.C. – Texas State was unable to overcome four first-half Appalachian State touchdowns and a smothering Mountaineer defense as the Bobcats fell 35-10 in Boone, N.C., Saturday afternoon.

The Bobcats marched 67 yards in 5:22, using 13 plays to take the 3-0 lead. Tyler Jones was 7 of 8 for 63 yards during the drive as four different receivers caught balls from the senior signal caller.
