ATLANTA – Texas State suffered its first road conference loss of the season after falling 64-55 to Georgia State on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Texas State shooting just 2-11 and Georgia State 3-12, the opening quarter was a low scoring affair and ended 11-5. The scoring improved after the opening quarter, though, and this was the lowest scoring quarter of the night, with both sides scoring 12+ points each quarter the rest of the night.
Through the rest of the first half the Bobcats battled back, bringing things within three points at the break.
