SAN MARCOS, Texas – This weekend marks the halfway point of the Sun Belt Conference schedule for the Texas State women's soccer team. The Bobcats conclude three consecutive road game on Friday against UL Lafayette at Ragin' Cajuns Soccer Facility at 7 p.m. On Sunday, Texas State returns to the Bobcat Soccer Complex at 7 p.m. to host the newest conference member Coastal Carolina.
Heading into the weekend, the Bobcats are 5-5-2 on the season and are tied for third in the league standings with a 2-1-1 record. The Ragin' Cajuns are 6-5-1 overall and are also 2-1-1 in the SBC while the Chanticleers have a 5-4-1 record and 2-1-1 in the conference.
