HATTIESBURG, MS – Texas State women's tennis opened conference play on Saturday with a 4-1 victory over Southern Miss. The Bobcats have now won seven games in a row, which is their largest winning streak in 12 years.
Texas State started off hot winning the doubles point and carried that momentum over to the singles portion of the match where they secured the three points needed to win the match 4-1.

Southern Miss took the first victory in doubles on court one when their duo Suhana Das and Alysa Richter defeated Texas State's Mae McCutcheon and Jadeh Chan 6-1.
