SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's tennis defeated New Mexico State 6-1 on Friday, to earn its fifth win of the season and improve their win streak to five in a row. This victory marks the first time in 10 years the women's tennis team has won five consecutive matches.
"Really proud of the way the team responded, especially after having a rough start in the doubles," said Texas State women's tennis head coach Kendall Brooks. "They turned it around and were definitely a force to be reckoned with. The energy on and off the court was great, and that's what college tennis is all about.
