CONWAY, S.C. – Texas State fell in the regular season finale to Coastal Carolina 12-2 in seven innings on Saturday afternoon at Springs Brooks Stadium.
The Bobcats head into the Sun Belt Conference Championship at 21-34 and 9-15 mark in conference play while the Chanticleers are now 26-23 and 9-12 in the Sun Belt.
Suffering the loss on the rubber was (0-2) after he gave up five runs on five walks and four hits in 3.1 innings while striking out two. Hunter Sibley (1-0) picked up the win as he threw a scoreless inning of relief.
