HUNTINGTON, W. VA. – On a cold Friday night, Texas State fell 7-1 to Marshall at Jack Cook Field in the series opener.
With the result, the Bobcats are now 15-15 on the season and 4-6 in the Sun Belt Conference while the Thundering Herd are 10-18 overall and also 4-6 in league play.
Ausitn Eaton (2-3) took the loss after giving up four runs on six hits and two walks in 3.2 innings. A quality start by Drew Harlow (5-3) of one run on four hits and six strikeouts in seven innings earned him the victory.
