SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State baseball team lost a narrow 4-0 decision to Baylor Wednesday night at Bobcat Ballpark.
The Bobcats (2-3) were playing in front of a crowd of 2,002, which marked the 13th time in stadium history and the second time this season that TXST hosted at least 2,000 fans. The announced attendance for the season opener against Purdue on Feb. 17 was 2,068.
BU (5-0) manufactured three runs in the first three innings Wednesday and was able to fend off Texas State runners reaching base in all but one of the nine frames.
