SAN MARCOS, TX — For the second time this season, the Texas State women's basketball program finished a basketball game with multiple student-athletes earning a double-double as Da'Nasia Hood and Lauryn Thompson accomplished the feat against Troy on Thursday night.
Hood, who entered the contest as one of just three student-athletes in the Sun Belt Conference ranked in the top seven in both scoring and rebounding average, tied her season high in points as the senior forward went for a team-high 21 points on 10-of-16 shooting. It marked the season time this season Hood's scoring total equaled 21 when finishing the game with a double-double after she had 21 points and 13 rebounds against Arlington Baptist on Nov.
