WACO, Texas – Texas State traveled to Waco for the team's second meet on the Baylor campus this season, competing in the Michael Johnson Classic. The Bobcats took the stage, performing well in the races that were Johnson's specialty, the 400-meter dash and the 4x400-meter relay.
Texas State's men put up four of the top five times in the Sun Belt Conference in the 400-meter dash. De'Marcus Porter ran a blazing 46.71 to improve his standing atop the SBC. The time is a career best for the sophomore and he led the pack for the Bobcats.
