LAFAYETTE, La. – The Texas State baseball team (31-13, 15-6 Sun Belt) never trailed all weekend and completed the series sweep of Louisiana (20-27, 8-13 Sun Belt) with a 10-8 victory Sunday afternoon at Russo Park. The Bobcats extended their winning streak to 10 games, the longest active streak in the nation.
Picking up the win on the mound was Connor Reich (6-1) after struck out five without walking anyone in six innings. He did surrender nine runs on six hits. Pick up his third save of the season was Brayden Theriot after pitching 2.
